Astute Launches New and Improved Cultural Competency Training Portal for Physicians

With the increasing diversity of the United States' population, physicians are more and more likely to encounter situations that require the delivery of culturally competent care, access to a vast array of language services, and supportive health care organizations. For the past several years, Astute has developed the technology supporting a cultural competency training portal for physicians, nurses, social workers, and physician assistants. In concert with our prime partner, SRA International, Astute has updated the Physician's Practical Guide to Culturally Competent Care with a variety of clinically relevant information, engaging case studies and increased user interactivity. Physicians and Physician Assistants can earn up to 9 free CME credits and Nurse Practitioners can earn up to 9 free CE credits while exploring information on the provision of culturally and linguistically competent care and services and learning about the importance of cultural competency in health care. Visit www.thinkculturalhealth.org to learn more about the free program and view the types of flagship educational portals that Astute Technology develops.
