Think Cultural Health Wins eHealthcare Leadership Award

RESTON, VA, October 25, 2010 – The 2010 eHealthcare Leadership Award Committee has declared Think Cultural Health a winner! The Think Cultural Health team has worked endlessly on facilitating the learning processes of culturally competent care, while providing information and continuing education for a wide variety of health professionals. Each curriculum within the Think Cultural Health clearinghouse has contributed to the overall success of the website. After 6 years of educating health care professionals from across the United States who continue to use and support the program, Think Cultural Health will be recognized for its outstanding role in communicating cultural competency within the health care system via the Internet. Astute Technology plays an integral part in these efforts by developing content and hosting the site.

The award will be presented to the team at the 14th Annual Healthcare Internet Conference to be held November 15-17, 2010 in Las Vegas. The award recognizes the best websites of healthcare organizations dedicated to using the Internet to promote health care. Over 1,200 entries were placed back in July of 2010 from other online health companies, and Think Cultural Health won! A special congratulations goes out to he Office of Minority Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human services and the tireless efforts to promote culturally competent care.
