Astute Contributes to Award Winning Website

RESTON, VA, December, 2011 – The Office of Minority Health's Think Cultural Health website has been recognized for its outstanding role in communicating health care through the Internet, and was named winner of multiple 2011 eHealthcare Leadership Awards! The awards recognize healthcare organization websites for the best use of the Internet to promote health care, and Think Cultural Health was selected as a winner from over 1,100 entries.

Astute Technology has helped create several award-winning websites for the Think Cultural Health suite of products. By incorporating its Net.SCORE® and Knowledge.PORT technologies, Astute has helped the Think Cultural Health website become the premier site for online testing and certification for cultural competency continuing education credits. Astute Technology's design, development and ongoing maintenance ensure that these sites meet the highest standards for today's health professionals.

Think Cultural Health promotes health equity at every point of contact. It offers e-learning programs and other resources to a wide variety of health professionals focused on the provision of culturally and linguistically appropriate services. Think Cultural Health also houses the National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services in Health Care, to be re-released in early 2012.
