WEF Knowledge Center Enhances Online Educational Opportunities

RESTON, VA, March 23, 2012 – Astute has officially launched the next generation of online Continuing Education for the Water Environment Foundation (WEF). The WEF Knowledge Center, http://knowledgecenter.wef.org, allows WEF members to earn educational credit by accessing comprehensive online training materials for water professionals.

Education provided in the WEF Knowledge Center includes:

  • Fundamental Courses - Courses related to the basic processes related to water and wastewater treatment.
  • Accelerated Courses - Courses developed based on current "Hot Topics" in the sector, with final exams to test knowledge.
  • No-Cost and Archived Webcasts - Led by the experts of the water sector and offered at no-cost to all who are interested in the topic.
  • The portal is integrated via single sign-on, allowing users to log in with their unique WEF username and ID. Under this account, users may track and store their professional credits within the Knowledge Center and search a catalogue to find those activities most valuable for their skill set. Upon completion, users are issued certificates which can be downloaded and printed real-time.

The WEF Knowledge Center is powered by Net.SCORE®, Astute Technology's online testing and certification platform. To learn more about contact us.
