Astute Captures Society of Interventional Radiology's 36th Annual Scientific Meeting

RESTON, VA, March 31, 2011 – The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) held its 36th Annual Scientific meeting in Chicago in March. Astute Technology leveraged our patented Conference.CAST ® technology to capture full-motion video of the sessions during the meeting. SIR: The Digital Video Library includes more than 200 hours of educational content from the meeting. The digital video library was sold to those who attended as well as those who were not able to attend the meeting. Purchase of the product provides online access allowing users to view content anytime, anywhere - in many cases within 24 hours of the original session. Astute also made the product accessible for use on mobile devices! Users also had the choice to purchase a companion DVD-ROM set of the library for viewing while not connected to the internet. The digital library integrated with SIR's Learning Center, powered by Astute's Net.SCORE ® product allowing users to earn credits above and beyond what they may have earned at the live meeting. Astute Technology was responsible for pre- and post-meeting marketing/sales as well as on-site sales and attained record breaking numbers at this event.
