Astute and Springer Launch Third Successful Publication Portal, SpineGateway.net

RESTON, VA, May 10, 2010 – Astute and Springer continued their long time collaboration in May with the launch of a new interactive learning portal, SpineGateway.net. The third in an ongoing series of publication portals developed by Astute, SpineGateway.net supports the Springer European Spine Journal in conjunction with EuroSpine, the Spine Society of Europe, providing users with a one-stop location for accessing a wealth of knowledge in the area of spine surgery. SpineGateway.net leverages innovative design elements developed by Astute and Springer for their first two publication portals and provides a variety of features and functionality to the user, including:

In addition, the portal leverages single sign-on integration with EuroSpine and allows for token access by several additional societies in order to create a seamless, convenient user experience. Those who sign in are provided the added benefit of personalization via "My Spine Gateway", a feature that allows the user to bookmark content for future reference.
