Astute Technology Takes BroadSoft's Website to the Next Level with a World Class Redesign

New Website Educates Individuals on the Value of Hosted VoIP

RESTON, VA, July 13, 2009 – Astute Technology, a boutique technology and design firm, today announced that it helped BroadSoft, the worldwide leader of VoIP applications, bring its website vision to reality. BroadSoft wanted to elevate its site to more accurately represent its brand and voice through a crisp, clean, execution that engages its audience. The site needed to better address the needs of BroadSoft's varied audiences including telecommunications service providers, technology partners, media and analysts, the financial community, and the increasingly important end-user - those consumers and businesses that are the ultimate users of VoIP applications.

The site imagery effectively communicates the applications, making it relevant to all of the diverse audiences while the color palate and other design elements create a crisp and engaging experience. The home page immediately directs the user to the most up-to-date portions of the site through events, news, RSS, BroadSoft's social media presence, and the partner and customer specific portals. Users are introduced to the new site through a welcome video by BroadSoft's VP of Marketing Leslie Ferry, during which she shares BroadSoft's vision for the site and other new online properties, including the new corporate blog, Broadband Ignite.

Through the use of multimedia, strategically placed throughout the site, the visitor is taken through ways that BroadSoft's technology can help them communicate more efficiently and effectively throughout their day.

"With more than a decade of experience providing VoIP applications, BroadSoft is committed to educating the market on the value and benefits hosted communication solutions offer to consumers and companies of all sizes. The launch of the new website is validation of this ongoing commitment and enables us to help end-users understand their communication options," said Leslie Ferry, vice president of marketing, BroadSoft. "BroadSoft will continue to enhance our multi-media communication approach on the site thanks to the baseline Astute created in the new architecture."
