Think Cultural Health Website Gets a Makeover

RESTON, VA, July 27, 2011 – The Think Cultural Health Web site, from the HHS Office of Minority Health, has a new look, a new set of features, and more of the cultural and linguistic competency resources that many have come to enjoy and rely upon.

The site, available at http://www.ThinkCulturalHealth.hhs.gov, is targeted to become the premier resource for cultural competency information with the latest CLAS Initiative information, videos targeted at enhancing the communication between healthcare personnel and patients to reduce health disparities that disproportionately affect minority populations, cultural competency community calendar of cultural and linguistic competency-related events, and much more.

As always, the Think Cultural Health continuing education programs, designed for all members of the healthcare team, are free, available 24/7 and accredited.
