Astute Develops Online Knowledge.PORT to Support ACC's credo Education

RESTON, VA, August 1, 2010 – Astute worked closely with The American College of Cardiology to support educational video surrounding the credo initiative (Coalition to Reduce Racial & Ethnic Disparities in CV Outcomes). With supporting video from a live course held in Washington DC at ACC's Heart House, Astute built a Knowledge.PORT to combine key information about the program long with the educational resources, including pairing of the video assets with the presenter slide's in a post-production environment. One of Astute's most recent custom players allows the online viewing audience to view the captured video along side of the presented slides. The user can also navigate through the presentation by clicking on slide thumbnails to advance or rewind the presentation based on the part of the presentation in which they are most interested.

The project was truly a collaborative effort between Astute and ACC to ensure the most robust educational product for the ACC membership.
